Companies Policy
Key Policy: Pet Aura is to be provided a key to the client's home at the time of the Meet and Greet. A lockbox is also acceptable. We will gladly hold your key. However, there will be a $25 key drop-off or pick-up fee.
Prior to leaving on your trip, please check that your lockbox is fully functional, your keys work in your lock, and/or your electronic lock is functional to ensure that I can access the home. I recommend also leaving a key copy with your emergency contact. In the case where I am not able to access the home due to a problem with the key, and I have concerns about the safety of your pet, I will make a concerted effort to contact you about what you would like me to do. In rare cases, I may have to bring out an emergency locksmith.
Client expressly gives Pet Sitting Company the authority to employ a locksmith on their behalf and to promptly reimburse Pet Aura Pet Sitting Company for all costs incurred in the event of a malfunction of the lock, keys, or automatic door opener
In the unlikely event that you are unable to return and assume care of your pet (s), please list the name of the person(s) we should contact to take over the care of your pets) until final pet guardianship is determined by arrangements made in your will or other legal documents.
Cancellation Policy:
Regular Visits/Walks - Cancellations with less than 48-hour notice: 50% of the total scheduled service will apply.
Daily Dog/Cat Visits - These programs are designed to be ongoing regular services. We build our day's around them. A $10 cancellation fee may apply to cancellations made within a 24-hour period. If you will, please contact us before 9 am on the day of service and we will confirm your cancellation at no charge. If we arrive at your house before you contact us to cancel, you will be charged for the full visit.
Overnight and 24-Hour Round The Clock Care - Cancellation with less than 7 days' notice of total: 50% of total scheduled service will apply. This includes any Regular Visits paired with Overnight Care. If canceled within 7 days, a credit on your account will be issued towards your next service, otherwise, the payment is forfeited.
Holidays: Cancellation service scheduled through and around the holidays must be canceled no less than 7 days prior to the first scheduled visit or 75% of the total scheduled service fees will apply.
Early Return: Please remember that we reserve all of the time for your pet's care when your schedule is confirmed. If you return home early, charges for the rest of the visits will still apply. No credits will be applied unless it was discussed and approved prior to the scheduled visits.
Returning Home: Please contact us when you get home from your trip so we know all is well!
Pet Aura reserves the right to refuse service to any client, at any time, for any reason.
Supply Pickup: If you need us to pick up supplies while you are away, a fee of $25 plus the cost of the items will be applied.
Visitors at home: Please inform us if you are expecting any other visitors to your home (gardeners, cleaners, neighbors, roommates, family members) during the time frames you have asked us to come to care for your pet.
Photos & Videos: The client authorizes the use of pet(s) pictures on website, social media, and/or marketing materials for promotional purposes on Intakeform
